Tractor Girls named the Talking WoSo FAWNL Premier Division Team of the Month for October.

Joe Sheehan’s side have been named the Talking WoSo Team of the Month after winning all four of their league games in October.

After beginning the month in second place, the Tractor Girls continued their fine form with wins over London Bees, MK Dons, Bridgwater United, and, most recently, Plymouth Argyle, scoring twelve times and conceding just once to move to the top of the Southern Premier Division.

Unbeaten with a perfect record of eleven wins in all competitions – ten in league action and one in the FAWNL Cup – the Tractor Girls currently sit nine points ahead of their nearest rivals, Southampton, in second place.

Boasting the most impressive record and the biggest lead in the Women’s Football Pyramid, Tiers 1-6, October also marked a special occasion for manager Joe Sheehan as the Town gaffer took charge of his 50th game against MK Dons.

October has been a fantastic month for the club, both on and off the pitch, as the Blue Army continue to back the team pitchside as strongly as they perform on it. With an average home attendance of 388 fans, the Tractor Girls continue to be one of the most well-backed teams in the WNL.
