Wolves progressed to the semi-finals of the FAWNL League Cup with a 3-2 win over Huddersfield Town at New Bucks Head Stadium.
Wolves ceased the advantage after the half-hour mark through Destiney Toussaint, before Cross doubled the host’s advantage minutes later. The Terriers responded with two second-half goals of their own to send the game into extra time where Toussaint bagged her second goal of the afternoon to send Daniel McNamara’s side into the last four of the FAWNL League Cup.
