Get involved

We openly invite anyone with a passion for women’s football to join our team of volunteer writers.

We believe that Tiers 3 and below of the women’s football pyramid do not receive enough coverage or recognition and we want to do our part in trying to change that.

So, if you’re a fan, player, coach, or even a parent and would like to contribute either as a one-off or more regularly in any way, we would love to hear from you.

No writing experience necessary.

A few ideas of how you can get involved.

Fans.

  • Match previews.
  • Match reports.
  • Round-ups.
  • Opinion pieces on all things women’s football.
  • Interviews.

Players and coaches.

  • As above (see fans).
  • Written Q&A’s / interviews.
  • Document your season, discuss upcoming or recent matches, training, etc.
  • Past experiences.
  • Player profile.

Parents.

  • Document your child’s footballing journey, share your thoughts on an RTC system, and anything else you feel may be interesting or useful to others.

Important.

There are no deadlines, and you will never be pressured in any way. Ever. Contribute as a one-off, as regularly, or sporadically as you choose – it’s entirely your decision.

You will also be given the option of a) having your own account so you’re able to publish your work directly onto the website or b) submitting your work via email and we’ll publish it on your behalf with full credit.

Also, if you already contribute elsewhere or have a site that you want to continue updating that’s fine. We would never ask you to give up any of those things, just share your passion and knowledge of women’s football with us.

Thank you,
Talking WoSo
