Kent Football United have completed the signing of experienced midfielder Dan Carlton as a free agent.
Carlton made ten appearances for FAWNL Southern Premier side, Yeovil, this season before deciding to leave the The Glovers during January.
A few later, the midfielder tweeted asking if any clubs would allow her to train with them and that she just wanted to be given the chance to fall in love with the game again.
It was a request that was met with an overwhelming response and led to the Carlton agreeing to sign for the FAWNL Division One South East outfit.
She has previously played for the likes of Oxford United, Millwall, Brighton and Charlton. She was also a member of the quadruple winning Tottenham Hotspur squad and considered a key member of Yeovil’s WSL 2 winning side in 2016.
Carlton is a proven winner, whose experience and sweet left foot could be an invaluable assets during the second half of the season for Kent Football United.
